Senior Health Care Support Worker
The successful applicant will be able to do physiological observations on all age ranges, they will also be able to utilise extended skills such as plastering and venepuncture in a busy Urgent Treatment Centre located at John Coupland Hospital.
Experience of working in an Urgent Treatment Centre is desirable

We have a hour vacancy for a Senior Health Care Support Workers at Gainsborough Urgent Treatment Centre and are looking for an individual who is an excellent team worker and is self motivated. They will have a good general education, Care certificate or equivalent, NVQ level 3 or happy to work toward. They would ideally have System One knowledge and have current Urgent / Emergency Care experience with some extended clinical skills.

Qualifications
Essential
1. Basic General Secondary Education
2. NVQ 3 or equivalent relevant experience
3. Specific relevent clinical skills, venepuncture and application of plaster
4. Recent Urgent care experience
5. NEWS and POPS knowledge
Desirable
6. Wound care skills
7. Urinary catheter and bladder scanning competencies
8. ECG recoding
Previous Experience

9. Customer Service skills with experience of dealing with members of the public
10. One years experience as a Health Care Support worker in a similar field.
