Job Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Childcare Provider to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for nurturing and educating young children in a safe and stimulating environment. This role involves managing daily activities, promoting early childhood education, and ensuring the well-being of children in our care. Duties
* Supervise and engage with children in various activities, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times.
* Plan and implement age-appropriate educational activities that promote learning and development.
* Manage daily routines, including meal times, nap times, and playtime, while maintaining a structured environment.
* Communicate effectively with parents regarding their child's progress, behaviour, and any concerns that may arise.
* Foster a nurturing atmosphere that encourages children's social, emotional, and cognitive development.
* Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the nursery or childcare facility to ensure a safe environment for children.
* Drive children to various activities or appointments when necessary (valid driving licence required).
Qualifications
* Previous experience in childcare or early childhood education is highly desirable.
* Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage groups of children effectively.
* Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
* Knowledge of child development principles and practices related to early childhood education.
* Ability to create engaging lesson plans that cater to the diverse needs of children.
* A genuine love for working with children and fostering their growth in a supportive environment.
* Certification in first aid or CPR is an advantage but not mandatory; training can be provided.
