You will work closely with the Restaurant Manager and Chef to ensure that every detail of the guest experience is meticulously attended to, from service excellence to maintaining the highest standards of quality. Key Responsibilities:
1. Operational Excellence: Assist in managing the daily operations of the restaurant, ensuring a seamless guest experience and efficient workflows.
2. Customer Satisfaction: Ensure that all guests receive exceptional service, resolving any guest issues or complaints promptly and professionally.
3. Team Leadership & Development: Support the team by fostering a positive, high-energy work environment. Lead by example, provide mentorship, and assist in training staff to uphold the restaurant’s standards.
4. Attention to Detail: Oversee every aspect of service delivery, from table setup and food presentation to cleanliness and atmosphere, ensuring the highest standards are met at all times.
5. Collaboration with the Culinary Team: Work closely with the Michelin-starred chef and kitchen staff to ensure consistent communication and smooth coordination between front-of-house and back-of-house operations.
6. Adaptability: Adapt to the dynamic needs of a new restaurant, remaining flexible as processes and systems evolve.
7. Inventory & Ordering: Assist in inventory management and ordering supplies, maintaining stock levels, and reducing waste.
8. Compliance: Ensure that all health, safety, and sanitation standards are followed in accordance with local regulations and the restaurant’s policies.
Qualifications:
1. 2-3 years of experience in restaurant management or assistant management roles, ideally in a fine dining or Michelin-star environment.
2. Strong understanding of high-end customer service, restaurant operations, and food and beverage standards.
3. A passion for gastronomy and a deep appreciation for the culinary arts.
4. Ability to thrive under pressure while maintaining attention to detail and a positive demeanor.
