The Role
This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced and strategic Senior Demand Planner to take ownership of demand forecasting, inventory optimisation, and product availability. You will lead a team of three Demand Planners and play a key role in driving efficiency and commercial success.
Key responsibilities include:
1. Team Leadership: Manage, mentor, and develop a team of three Demand Planners.
2. Demand Forecasting: Analyse sales data and trends to maintain optimal inventory levels.
3. Inventory & Supply Planning: Ensure timely placement of purchase orders and maintain product availability.
4. Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with sales, procurement, and commercial teams to align forecasts with business goals.
5. New Product Launches: Provide planning insights to support product introductions.
6. Supply Chain Disruption Management: Identify and resolve fluctuations or delays in the supply chain.
Skills & Experience Required:
1. Proven experience in demand planning, inventory management, or supply chain operations, ideally within wholesale distribution or E-Commerce.
2. Strong analytical skills with a data-driven approach to decision-making.
3. Experience in supplier and manufacturer relationship management.
4. Proficient in Excel and forecasting software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or ERP systems).
5. A strong communicator and collaborator, comfortable working with stakeholders at all levels.
