Assistant to the Management Team
Job Location: Near Wyke Regis, Dorset
Job Type: Permanent
Salary: £28,000 - £38,000 per annum (depending on experience)
Hours: Monday – Friday, 8:00am – 5:00pm

A specialist Engineering company with a great reputation in the industry is currently recruiting for an Assistant to the Management Team.
The role will involve supporting the management team with all administrative tasks, producing quotes, coordinating company works to clients, liaising with customers to gather information and advise on progress, and ensuring engineers have all materials needed to complete jobs.
We are looking for someone with the following skills/experience:
1. Excellent administration and organisational skills
2. Competent typist
3. Excellent attention to detail
4. Well organised and able to multitask
5. Excellent communication skills, both written and oral
6. Ability to adapt to a changing workload
7. Strong IT skills including Microsoft packages (Word, Excel, Outlook)
8. Able to work independently and to deadlines
9. Previous experience in a similar capacity
Within your role, you will be undertaking (but not limited to):
PA duties:
1. Supporting the Management team with projects
2. Managing diaries and organising meetings and appointments
3. Dealing with correspondence and phone calls
4. Producing documents, briefing papers, reports, and presentations
5. Organising events
Admin duties:
1. Assisting with confidential and sensitive information
2. Booking and arranging travel, transport, and accommodation
3. Producing quotes for the Management team
4. Inputting data from employee timesheets
5. Maintaining certification (BS1090, ISO 9001, 14001, Vehicle docs)
6. Implementing and maintaining procedures
7. Auditing company processes and procedures
8. Resolving issues within company guidelines and policies
9. Maintaining health & safety documentation including risk assessments
10. Upkeep of training records
11. Maintaining and creating standardised company documents
