Everyone should have a measurable impact and be able to demonstrate a real difference.\n\nWe currently have an excellent opportunity for a Warehouse Apprentice to join our team. The role will be based in our Glasgow (Govan) Head Office.\n\nYou would be part of the wider Production, Quality Control and Delivery team, approximately 40 people in total.\nOn successful completion of your 3 month probationary period, we pay for \n15 x 1.5 hour driving lessons, 2 attempts at the theory test, and 1 shot at the practical driving test.\nKey Result Areas\n\n· Communicate well with other team members to ensure the delivery of smooth, efficient and productive business operations processes\n\n· Carry out quality control checks on all products in the warehouse to ensure they are fit for delivery\n\n· Work closely with all colleagues to ensure consistency and to minimise double handling\n\n· Follow all company policies.\n\n· Wrap product securely for delivery, in accordance with company policy\n\n· Pick product that customers or branches have ordered and prepare for delivery\n\n· Ensure minimal customer and branch mis-picks and complaints\n\n· Make up ârunsâ for delivery vehicles, with correct items that match the paperwork.\n\n· If requested take in and sign for supplier and internal transfer deliveries.\n\n· Participate efficiently in stock takes.\n\n· Report any damage caused by accident or otherwise to stock or property.\n\n· Liaise with other staff members to achieve a high-quality delivery or click and collect service.\n\n· Demonstrate a flexible approach to changing company demands\n\n· Display a willingness to learn and attend any relevant training courses provided by the company. You will learn how to work in a team and on your own in an warehousing environment. You will learn how to work safely following all health and safety regulations, the correct use of machinery and making sure you have the correct PPE to complete day to day actions. \n· National 4 English and Maths required\n\n· You are enthusiastic, ambitious and keen to learn\n\n· You are genuinely interested in building a career\n\n· You are able to complete tasks quickly\n\n· You are an exceptional communicator\n\nThe drive to succeed - On successful completion of your 3 month probationary period, we pay for 15 x 1.5 hour driving lessons, 2 attempts at the theory test, and 1 shot at the practical driving test.\n\n
