This is an opportunity for an enthusiastic and hard working individual to join the Cancer Services Department at UHBW. You will be working alongside the Fast Track Team and Cancer MDT Co-ordinators.
Working as part of a large team in a busy environment, you will draw on your experience and skills to effectively communicate with colleagues, clinicians and peers to support the effective management of a range of administrative tasks.
Key experience you will need to apply for the role:
- Ability to use initiative and manage your own workload
- The ability to communicate both via telephone and in writing
- Appetite to learn and develop
- IT literate. Previous experience using a patient administration system is desirable
Looking to recruit full-time hours (37.5 hours over 5 days).
The post holder will be responsible for tracking patients with suspected cancer from point of referral, ensuring patients are seen in a timely manner. The role will involve communicating with various departments across the Trust. Other key responsibilities include providing support to the Fast Track Team plus Cancer MDT Coordinators
The post holder will be split between working in the office and also from home.
