You'll be responsible for fitting and assembling electrical components and systems onboard ships, ensuring systems function with accuracy and efficiency. Our client is based at one of the largest ship-repair facilities in the UK and provide a complete range of marine repair services thanks to their on-site engineering, electrical, paint and fabrication workshops. Learn how to: • Install, repair and maintain electrical systems onboard ships. • Conduct inspections, diagnose electrical issues. • Implement effective solutions to ensure the safety and functionality of electrical systems on both vessels and within the shipyard facilities. • Read engineering drawings and technical specifications. • Troubleshoot and resolve electrical issues. • Coordinate electrical work with engineers, project managers and other trades people.
