About the role
Are you an enthusiastic and hard-working 1:1 Teaching Assistant looking for short-term or long-term supply? Are you looking for flexibility or a better work/life balance?
The successful 1:1 Teaching Assistant will be a passionate and proactive individual, capable of building good relationships with pupils and staff. Working in Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4, you will have a good understanding of the curriculum and be able to work with the class teacher to deliver sessions to students on a 1:1 basis. Requirements
To be considered for the role of 1:1 Teaching Assistant you will:
1. Have previous, recent experience working with young people
2. Have a high level of literacy and numeracy
3. Have a flexible approach to work and be able to think on your feet
4. Be confident and have a positive approach that engages students in their learning
5. Have excellent classroom management skills
