About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Children's Home Manager to lead our residential care team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of care and support for young people, while also managing the day-to-day operations of the home.
Key Responsibilities:
* Develop and implement care plans, working closely with young people, families, and other stakeholders to ensure tailored support.
* Maintain accurate records and reports, tracking progress and identifying areas for improvement.
* Conduct regular inspections and audits, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies.
* Provide training and development opportunities for staff, enhancing their skills and knowledge.
* Collaborate with external agencies, building relationships and securing additional resources and support.
Requirements:
* Qualifications: QCF Level 5 in Childcare or equivalent (e.g., DipSW, NVQ Level 4 in Leadership and Management), demonstrating expertise in childcare and education.
* Experience: At least two years of experience working with children, with one year in a supervisory or management role, showcasing leadership and organizational abilities.
* Knowledge: Familiarity with relevant regulations, including the Children Act 1989, Every Child Matters, and the National Minimum Standards, ensuring compliance and best practice.
