Are you a passionate Secondary School Art Teacher looking for flexible teaching opportunities? Our education agency is seeking creative and enthusiastic art teachers to inspire students in secondary schools across Slough, Reading and Buckinghamshire.
About the Role:
As an Art Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering engaging and dynamic lessons to Key Stages 3 & 4 (and possibly Key Stage 5). You'll encourage students to develop their creativity, technical skills, and appreciation for artistic expression.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Plan and deliver high-quality art lessons aligned with the curriculum
2. Teach a variety of artistic techniques, including drawing, painting, sculpture, and digital media
3. Encourage creativity, critical thinking, and self-expression in students
4. Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback
5. Maintain a positive, inclusive, and well-managed classroom environment
6. Participate in school activities, exhibitions, and projects when required
Requirements:
1. Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or relevant teaching qualification
2. Experience teaching Art at the secondary level (KS3 & KS4, KS5 desirable)
3. Strong classroom management skills and the ability to engage students
4. Passion for inspiring young artists and fostering creativity
5. Flexibility to adapt to different schools and environments
