Your missions:
Lead and mentor multidisciplinary engineering teams, ensuring high-quality technical solutions that meet customer requirements.
Oversee the mechanical and structural design process, including pipework and vessel design, from concept through to manufacture.
Manage the development, review, and checking of technical documentation, including design reports, technical files, and compliance documentation.
Provide technical guidance and risk assessment, identifying and mitigating challenges before they impact project timelines.
Collaborate with project managers, lead engineers, and stakeholders to ensure seamless project execution.
Work with Autodesk Inventor, AutoCAD, and FEA tools (training available if required).
Engage with the supply chain, liaising with vendors to specify and develop mechanical components.
Ensure compliance with industry regulations, such as PED, PUWER, and LOLER.

Qualifications
Qualifications/Skills to be successful:
BEng (2:1 or higher) in Mechanical Engineering (Master’s preferred).
Proven experience in mechanical engineering within a highly regulated sector.
Strong knowledge of mechanical and structural engineering principles, including system components like valves, pumps, and supports.
Ability to lead teams and delegate tasks effectively, fostering a collaborative work environment.
Chartership (or working towards it) is advantageous.
Experience with FEA software (ANSYS, CAESAR, or Flow Master) and MathCAD is desirable.
Familiarity with Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) and requirements-led design is a plus.
Experience with NEC 3/4 contracts and risk identification is desirable.

Due to the nature of work to be undertaken applicants will be required to meet certain residency criteria in order to attain a minimum level of UK security clearance if not already security cleared to a minimum SC level.
