Suffolk County Council - Senior Communications Officer
* Location: Endeavour House, Ipswich, Suffolk IP1 2BX - Hybrid
* Salary: £39,513 per annum (pro rata for part time)
* Hours: 37 hours per week - Flexible working options available
* Contract: Fixed term or secondment for 2 years (project)
Join the Suffolk County Council's Communications and Public Affairs team as a Senior Communications Officer. In this role, you will develop and deliver high-profile communications campaigns, working with media, politicians, and service experts to protect and enhance the council's reputation.
Your responsibilities include:
* Developing audience-focused, multidisciplinary communication projects and campaigns
* Creating written and digital content such as reports, publicity, and marketing materials
* Collaborating with colleagues to support the council's priorities and strategic communication goals
Requirements:
* Educated to degree level or equivalent, or significant professional experience in communications and campaigns
* Proven ability to devise and implement creative communication strategies
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
