Job Overview
As the Asset Engineer, you will play a key role in delivering a prioritised programme of work that aligns with business objectives, ensuring assets perform at their best, all while managing costs and risk. Reporting to the Programme Planning Manager, you will conduct initial investigations, develop modelling studies, and perform in-depth cost-benefit analyses. 3. Optimisation & Prioritisation (25%): Develop cost-beneficial interventions to manage prioritised risks. Work closely with operational and maintenance teams to ensure smooth delivery and tracking of benefits.
4. Evidence-Based Recommendations : Recommend interventions based on data, taking into account risk, performance, criticality, and costs, all while supporting the delivery of our AMP investment plans.
5. Solution Effectiveness Feedback (25%): Analyse feedback on intervention effectiveness to continuously inform asset strategy and planning decisions.
6. Collaboration & Coordination : Liaise with various teams (strategy, planning, programmes) to ensure that interventions are correctly implemented and benefits are fully realised. Support the development of integrated system plans at asset group, catchment, and functional levels.
7. Project Handover & Support : Complete handover documentation for capital delivery interventions and ensure that identified benefits remain viable during the design process.
