We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to join our team on a part-time basis, working two days a week from January 2025. Key Responsibilities Plan and deliver engaging lessons to cover teacher absences and PPA time. Support teaching staff in enhancing pupil learning and well-being. Assist in assessing pupil progress and adapting resources to meet individual needs. Provide pastoral support and encourage positive behaviour in line with school policies. Contribute to the wider life of the school, including extracurricular activities and events. What We’re Looking For Essential: HLTA qualification or equivalent experience. Previous experience working in a primary school setting. Strong interpersonal and communication skills to build relationships with pupils, staff, and parents. A proactive and adaptable approach to working within a small and dynamic team. A commitment to promoting a safe, inclusive, and stimulating learning environment.
