Cyber Security Alliance Services/Products Manager To £50,000 Benefits Manchester, Birmingham or Maidenhead (Hybrid 1-2 days) Our partner customer is a UK leader in multiple Cyber Security vendor services and products as well as just about all other area's of technology. This role will see you lead a team of 3 Cyber Security product/services specialists and will see you sit as the Vendor Alliance Services manager for Cyber Security. Following a forward thinking restructure to accommodate growth, our customer now needs a Cyber Security Alliance Services Manager who knows the wider security market through experience, has managed vendor relationships in the security channel previously, and knows the value of this role having performed it elsewhere in the channel. Sharp in focus and commercially aware with collaboration expertise, in this Alliances division you will help architect vendor strategy, working seamlessly across functions to ensure we have the right alignments to the right vendors to support their technology propositions around cyber security. This Alliances function works diligently with vendors to ensure the right strategic vision/s align to their own goals and objectives, reviewing market opportunities and innovating to ensure this enterprise technology services business stay as market leaders. Despite their size already they have bold plans to see the organisation scale even further, including outside of the UK where they have over 2,000 heads across multiple UK offices. It's an exciting time You will sit as 1 of 6 Alliance Services Managers, lead the Cyber Security vendor alliances and team, If you have no leadership experience previous mentoring of team members will be considered. More important is your Cyber Security sector understanding as you will over see vendors including; Microsoft, Fortinet, Crowdstrike, Z Scaler, Paulo Alto and Sophos to name a few. Develop a team of Product & Services Executives As the Cyber Security Alliance Services Products manager, you will also be responsible for engaging directly within our customers Cyber Security technology proposition. You will be responsible for ensuring they maintain their technology knowledge and competence and work collaboratively across the business to ensure we're meeting the mutually agreed objectives of the vendor partnerships, aligning to the direction and guidance provided by the Alliance Leader. As the Cyber Security Alliance Services/Products Manager, you'll be responsible for: Developing and managing a team and be responsible for their development and professional growth Aligning with Alliance Managers to ensure full support of vendor requirements and collaborate stakeholders to ensure seamless cooperation and alignment on goals and strategies Conducting thorough market research to understand opportunities in technology propositions and position the vendors effectively by providing insights and strategic recommendations Understanding and analysing the competitive positioning of our client and its vendors Collaborating with the sales enablement team to support sales initiatives and enablement requirements and provide product expertise to ensure successful outcomes Providing tailor made solutions to customers and supporting them by leveraging vendor technologies Encouraging innovation and the adoption of new technologies among customers and internal teams Maintaining high levels of technical proficiency and keeping up to date on the latest technological trends (ideally through vendor certs) Delivering enablement sessions and be responsible for onboarding and development of brand new teams They'd like you to have Experience in a partnership management and vendor relations role is desirable Strong leadership skills and an ability to build relationships with external and internal stakeholders Sales and Technical certifications relevant to the industry would be advantageous Ability to build, motivate and engage a team and work with a collaborative and proactive mindset Attention to detail and prioritisation of tasks In return you will get base of c£48,000 and a £2-4k bonus, have a structured career plan, progression opportunities and an amazing working environment and culture that's won as many awards as any other UK tech services business out there if not more
