Upper Key Stage Two Teacher (Part-time, Temporary – 0.4 FTE)
Salary: MPS 3-6 Location: Ashdene Primary School Contract: Temporary (with potential for permanency)
Ashdene Primary School is seeking a passionate and dedicated Upper Key Stage Two Teacher to join our friendly and supportive team on a part-time, temporary basis.
This role involves:
• Teaching a Year 6 class on Thursdays, providing cover for management non-contact time.
• Teaching a Year 5 class on Fridays, as part of a job-share arrangement with the main class teacher.
The position is temporary due to a member of our leadership team taking on an additional role in launching our new teacher training programme from September 2025. Should the programme continue successfully, there is potential for the role to be extended or made permanent.
We are also advertising for a PPA cover teacher for 3 afternoons per week and would consider combining this role with the PPA cover teacher role.
