Working from home to provide clinical input and support in the development and promotion of a technology system that enables a person to live independently in their own home. The role will sit within the business development team in the UK and report to the Manager of Assisted Living, who is also an Occupational Therapist. Client Group: Technology system that enables a person to live independently in their own home.
The role will be home-based and is covering the UK, so there would be nationwide travel required, but at the moment the travel is probably about twice per month. Their Head Office in the UK is near Southampton. Our client is looking for an OT to join their small Business Development Team as you will see in the accountabilities; they will be involved in a range of activities to aid the sales of this product/service.
Job Role:
1. To create and implement an evaluation plan to review the technology and support future development.
2. To collate qualitative data on observation or user experience and create case studies for publication.
3. To support prescribers to make informed decisions on suitability of customers used in field trials.
4. To support service design and enable a fit-for-need service delivery.
5. To work closely with the business development team to advise on health and social care pathways.
6. To support business development by providing clinical input into presentations and tenders.
7. To liaise with relevant bodies in social and healthcare agencies and provide accurate reports on the service relevance and acceptance.
8. Support the service delivery team and provide training as needed on how to support those living with frailty or impairments effectively.
9. Create and deliver insightful thought leader papers and webinars around the use of technology.
10. Provide evidenced and consistent feedback that is used within the development of the service and system.
11. Reports on user experience regarding the service provided in a timely manner.
12. Suitable customers chosen for field trials.
13. Useful and legible documentation created for use in field trials and training.
14. Customer satisfaction on the support they receive through any trials.
15. Regular reports to program manager on feedback from health authorities and social services.
16. Internal satisfaction level of information disseminated, and the knowledge acquired by technical and support staff on issues affecting the potential assisted living customers.
Requirements:
1. 2+ years in clinical practice in a physical placement.
2. HCPC registered.
3. Own transport and ability to travel.
