Sales Co-ordinator with Freight Experience\n\nFull Time to work side by side with the Commercial Director.\n\nBased on an average of 40 hours working predominately Monday to Friday, 8.30am - 5pm (shift patterns may vary depending on business needs).\n\nwe are recruiting a Freight Sales Co-ordinator for a multi-award-winning, dynamic, and fast-paced expanding logistics business with a strategic growth plan.\n\nThis is an exciting time to join the team who pride themselves on being independently owned and have a real passion for creating and maintaining exceptional service with their customers and the community, as well as giving back to the team who are part of their growing culture.\n\nAs the Freight Sales Co-ordinator, you will be responsible for \n\nLiaising with carriers, reviewing market trends and rates.\nResearch and develop new UK and international sales opportunities.\nMaximise sales opportunities between our existing customers for all modes of transport; air, ocean and road.\nCommunicate with customers to build relationships and understand the business needs and requirements.\nReview emails with sales quotes, FCL, LCL, Road & Air\nWork closely with the ops team to ensure the customer service experience is maintained.\nMaintain Systems & CRM\nAttending Networking events to promote the business and build relationships. \n\nSkills and Experience Required \n\n2 years experience in Freight Forwarding Sales.\nExperience with data freight or model trans is desired.\nExcellent planning and organisational skills.\nEffective communication and interpersonal skills.\nMotivational attitude to make positive and constructive input to the team. \n\n in return you will be offered\n\nA competitive salary of £32k-35k with fantastic opportunities to grow with the company.\nAccess to an on-site gym.\nAn additional 5-day holiday per annum.\nFree parking.\nStrong community presence including working with charities on different events \n\n Please note that Freight experience is essential
