Job Description
The Site Manager is accountable for the site P&L (profit & loss), planning, directing, managing and maintaining the performance of the site/s under their management, as dictated by the overall strategy set by Vattenfall. This covers principally RBA, HS&E and budget and business planning, but will also include quality, resources and logistics related to the site/s under their management. Accountable for taking part in developing the long-term objectives of the site/s. Ensuring business growth by directing operational activities in accordance with the business organisational and HS&E strategies.
Accountable for cost and RBA driven by annual service, retrofits and minor correctives across assets under their management.
Responsible for maintaining a current understanding of the Vattenfall Asset Integrity Management Strategy and Policy, performing any resultant activities and ensuring that the policy is understood by those in their direct line organisation.
Site Manager/s is accountable and responsible for the development of all staff within their reporting line
The main focus areas are:
* HSE; Accountable for all operational activities at site
* People; Performance and line management of Operation Managers and supporting functions at site
* Performance; P&L, maximise Revenue Based Availability and reduce OPEX
* Safety; Implement safety improvements at site/s
* Collating; managing and implementing improvement initiatives
Key responsibilities and mandate:
* Provide inspirational leadership to meet the site/s objectives in relation to HS&E, RBA and budget.
* Lead form the front, be visible to the team in their workplace, motivation and facilitating high performance, providing coaching and deal with poor performance.
* Accountable for the development and continuous improvement of a strong, positive HS&E culture
* Accountable for the Health, Safety and Environment (HS&E) related metrics and KPI overview of the Site/s under their management.
* Accountable for site P&L.
* Chair site safety meetings, ensure attendance from relevant personal (e.g., vessel operator, HS and E specialist, Regional Support etc.) and participate in regional safety meetings.
* Ensure all outstanding HS&E actions have an owner.
* Manage any conflicts and/or resource gaps related to the execution of HS&E activates required in site.
* Accountable for all site-specific HS&E documentation e.g., Emergency Response Plans, covering the site/s under their management.
* Accountable to ensure that all hazardous observations and incidents on the site are reported.
* Accountable for health and well-being of all staff within their line and implement the health and strategy at site.
* Ensure all staff have the relevant HSE competency, training, behaviours and capabilities needed for their role.
* Accountable for the budget /s covering the Site/s under their management, operational P&L, maximizing RBA and reducing costs (OPEX/CAPEX, and follow up on same
* Accountable for the site/s RBA figure in relation to minor correctives, retrofits and annual service determined by the KPI and to sign off on RBA numbers.
* Responsible for the efficient planning, scheduling and execution of all turbines scheduled service, troubleshooting and retrofit on site.
* Responsible for enabling the exchange and repair of major components (blades, gearboxes etc.).
* Align with Regional Support or Central Support to ensure support and services are delivered to achieve the Site KPI.
* Decision mandate lies with the Site Manager.
* Accountable for managing the delivery form the site and Regional Support functions to effectively and efficiently plan work on site and optimize the use of vessels, tools and recourses.
* Work together with Regional Support and Technical Support, to achieve the lowest possible RBA loss due to minor correctives, retrofits and service.
* Decision mandate lies with the Site Manager.
* Execute responsibility of SWA, OMA, DNP and partnership related to site/s under their management.
* Lead communications with OMA Manager for the site/s and provide data that may impact the delivery of the OMA service.
* Manage, on a day-to-day basis, the adherence of the Service Provider/s to the contractually agreed standards and scope delivery.
* Accountable for the final sign off on RBA/production loss data, defining the KPI at site.
* Accountable for staffing, development and management of staff within their line organization, this includes Performance Dialogue, evaluation, disciplinary actions, absence and approving hours, vacation and expenses.
* Responsible for the overall resource planning according to guidelines.

* High level of communication skill and excellent problem-solving skills.
* ISOM safety training.
* IT-Intermediate to advanced level of MS Word, Excel and MS Outlook.
* Ability to prioritize own workload and organize time and tasks efficiently and be proactive.
