If you’re customer focussed and organised, we are looking for someone to join our highly motivated and industry-leading team as a Buyer on a 12 month FTC. Whether you have purchasing experience or are looking to begin your career in purchasing, you will find opportunities for development here at Computacenter.

As a Buyer at Computacenter, you will be responsible for the end-to-end purchase order lifecycle and ensuring the process is efficient and offers the best customer experience.
What you’ll do
1. Purchase Order Lifecycle Management from PO through to completion
2. Ensure the accuracy of all requisition details before submission
3. Resolve errors and queries in POs
4. Ensure all POs are issued to vendors
5. Track orders to ensure deadlines are achieved and source alternative products if required
6. Inventory Management
7. Resolve purchasing-related issues
8. Manage supplier relationships, resolving any disputes and escalating to the purchasing manager when required
9. Achieve buying SLAs and KPI performance targets
10. Maintain and improve customer satisfaction levels
11. Maintain cost control requirements

1. Previous experience in a customer-focused environment
2. Previous buying experience
