Position:
An excellent opportunity has arisen for 2 Community Services Administration Assistant. Post 1 - Permanent based in Irvine and Post 2 - 6 months Fixed Term based in Largs/Millport.

What you will do:
To work as a member of the North Ayrshire Health and Social Care Partnership Community Services Administration Team, providing a full and comprehensive administrative support service to Community Services including Community Premises, District Nursing, Early Years, the Hospital Manager and members of the NHS Health Care Team on the Island of Cumbrae.
You will also provide administrative support to the Community Services Locality Manager and Locality Co-ordinators.

Knowledge, training and/or experience required to do the job:
Essential
1. HNC in Business Administration or equivalent or relevant qualification or service experience.
2. Advanced working knowledge of personal computers with excellent keyboard skills and literacy in Microsoft Office Professional software packages, in particular Excel.
3. Excellent inter-personal and communication skills (both verbal and written) with a high standard of literacy.
4. Effective time-management skills, demonstrating the ability to prioritise one’s workload, organise and anticipate needs, in order to deliver within strict and set deadlines.
5. Ability to handle and answer queries, progress chase tasks and problem solve.
6. The ability to work on one’s own or as part of the multi-disciplinary team. Answering queries, problem solving.
Desirable
7. Previous experience of working within a multi-disciplinary health care setting, preferably within a similar environment.
8. Previous experience of statistical data input into electronic systems and production of reports.
9. An awareness of confidentiality, data protection and an understanding of health, safety and environmental issues in the workplace.
10. Experience of working with the following systems; Datix, CarePartner, PECOS, SSTS, EMIS Web.

Hours:
Post 1 : 30 hours per week
