Special Educational Needs Teacher Start Date: Post-Easter 2025 Pay Rate: £100 - £130 per day (Dependant on Experience) Location: Wigan Contract: Full time, Temporary (With opportunity to progress to a permanent position) Teaching Personnel are currently recruiting passionate and Fully Qualified SEN Teachers for Schools in the Wigan area. As an SEN Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality education and support to students with a range of SEN, including Autism, learning disabilities, and emotional/behavioural difficulties. If you are capable of tailoring learning plans that promote the academic, social and emotional development of each child, then we would love to hear from you Requirements: Have previous experience working with children who have Special Educational Needs, ideally within an SEN school or similar setting A commitment to creating an inclusive environment where all students can thrive Be a Fully Qualified Teacher (QTS, PGCE or an equivalent qualification) Right to work in the UK Obtain a DBS check registered on the update service or a willingness to obtain one Experience managing challenging behaviours, adapting approach to individual behaviour support Knowledge of SEN strategies and interventions as well as experience working with a range of complex needs.
