Salary: £27,900 - £36,300
Location: Duxford, Cambridge; UK.
Contract: Permanent, Full Time 35 hours per week
We are looking for a Chef Manager to lead a dynamic kitchen team in the delivery of exceptional food, service, and operational excellence.

About the role
As a Chef Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing daily food production and service operations, ensuring the delivery of an exceptional dining experience. Your role will involve leading a diverse kitchen team, coordinating staff schedules, and maintaining high standards of food quality, safety, and customer satisfaction.
You will work closely with senior management and contribute to the financial performance of the unit by developing cost-effective, seasonal menus. Additionally, you will be instrumental in maintaining hygiene compliance, managing supplier relationships, and ensuring sustainability and waste reduction within the kitchen.
About you
You are an experienced catering professional with at least three years of senior management experience, ideally with classical culinary training.
Your knowledge of current food trends, food safety (Level 3 or above), and sustainability practices makes you a strong leader in a kitchen environment.
You are proficient in managing budgets, controlling food costs, and maintaining hygiene standards. With excellent customer service skills, a proactive mindset, and a can-do attitude, you thrive in a fast-paced environment where you can inspire and support your team.
Your ability to collaborate with various stakeholders ensures seamless kitchen operations and top-quality service.
