Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Furniture Assembler/Warehouse Assistant to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in various assembly techniques and the ability to work effectively with a range of tools and materials. This role requires attention to detail, the ability to follow instructions, and a commitment to producing high-quality work. As an Assembler, you will play a crucial role in the production process, ensuring that components are assembled accurately and efficiently.
Responsibilities
* Assemble components according to specifications and instructions.
* Utilise hand tools and power tools safely and effectively.
* Engage in masonry and joinery tasks when necessary.
* Conduct painting and finishing work on assembled products.
* Lift heavy materials and components as needed, ensuring safety protocols are followed.
* Maintain a clean and organised workspace throughout the assembly process.
* Collaborate with team members to meet production targets and deadlines.
* Perform general warehouse tasks such as loading and unloading deliveries and assisting customers.
Experience
* Some experience in assembly or a related field is preferred.
* Proficient in using both hand tools and power tools safely.
* Ability to perform heavy lifting (up to 25 kg) consistently throughout the shift.
* Strong attention to detail.
* Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well within a team environment.
Working Hours: Monday - Friday 8:30am - 5:30pm. Every other Saturday 8:30am - 5:30pm.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: £12.00 per hour
