Support the Net Zero Team in the Design and Deliver of Sustainable Energy Solutions as a Senior/Principal Mechanical Engineer.

You will work on a variety of mechanical engineering projects across Power Grids, Energy Storage, Hydrogen, and Power and Industrial Assets divisions whilst supporting a dedicated engineering team.
About the Role:
1. Lead technical aspects of mechanical engineering projects across the entire lifecycle.
2. Work closely with clients to deliver various projects in the net zero division of the business.
3. Manage an engineering team by mentoring junior engineers, coordinating meetings, etc.
About You:
1. Degree qualified mechanical engineer with experience in a highly regulated industry like power, chemical, oil and gas designing to European standards (PED).
2. People management experience - supporting junior engineers, coordinating teams, etc.
3. Strong technical background in pressure design calculations on static equipment, such as pipes, valves, heat exchangers, vessels for high pressure gases or liquids.
4. Knowledge of industry standards e.g. BSEN 13480, 12592, 7910, ASME B31, VIII.
Key Information:
1. Role: Senior OR Principal Mechanical Engineer (People Focus).
2. Salary: £50,000-£80,000 Depending On Experience.
3. Location(s): Glasgow, Edinburgh, Bristol or Stockton.
4. Hybrid Working: 2-3 Days a Week On-Site Per Week.
