About the role
This role is responsible for driving the execution of our colleague relations services across multiple markets, providing guidance and insight on all aspects of colleague relations, conflict resolution and workplace mediation.
You will be responsible for
* Leading the colleague relations team to deliver high-impact services, focusing on proactive problem resolution, colleague engagement and maintaining a positive culture across multiple markets.
* Being the escalation point for complex or high-profile cases or concerns.
* Partnering senior stakeholders across the business, People and Legal teams to advise and align on colleague relations and compliance priorities across multiple markets.
* Partnering the Workplace Relations and Policy practice of expertise teams, where applicable, to craft policies and best practices to ensure consistency and fairness in line with local market practices and cultural nuances.
* Developing tailored strategies for diverse global markets to ensure effective colleague engagement and compliance.
* Using colleague relations data to identify trends, opportunities and emerging colleague relation issues to inform decision-making, cultural change and continuous improvement of colleague relations practices.
* Leading a cross-geography, multi-cultural team, encouraging a high-performance culture, encouraging an inclusive work environment and building future-fit capability across the group.
* Delivering operational excellence across the end-to-end colleague relations process, underpinned by a culture of continuous improvement.
* Lead the response to high-impact colleague relations issues or crises, working closely with our union partners, and Practice of Expertise teams to deliver colleague impacting change programmes in a values-led way.
You will need
* Technical understanding of colleague relations practices and compliance.
* Expertise in conflict resolution, mediation and crisis management.
* Union relations and change management experience.
* Analytical and data-driven attitude to measure and improve colleague engagement.
* Shown leadership and people management skills, with experience leading diverse remote teams.
* Excellent communication and business partnering skills, with the ability to influence at all levels.
* Ability to navigate complex, confidential issues.

* Annual bonus scheme of up to 45% of base salary
