Description Document & Business Solutions (DBS) is the company’s primary office-based services provider for the firm, globally, operating across variety of ragions in more than 50 cities. Document & Business Solutions is responsible for providing vital products and services, including but not limited to, creative & design, document creation/print/copy, mail distribution, messenger, courier, and fulfillment scanning and archiving. Additionally, Document & Business Solutions manages a suite of products, including, SmartPrint (floor printers), mail digitization and Document & Business Solutions’ online service platform. As a Document & Business Solutions Operations Supervisor in the Document & Business Solutions team, you will ensure professionalism in all aspects of customer service, providing flexible and responsive assistance to clients and colleagues. You will need to have ‘can do’ attitude with a flexible approach and using own initiative to provide mail, courier and print solutions to internal clients, working as part of a team to support the Document & Business Solutions operation and other tasks within the management team. You will be responsible for the day-to-day oversight and operational management of staff. You will actively manage the team and operation to ensure work requests and volumes receive the correct workforce and processes are adhered to providing quality output without errors. You will be the first point of contact for the local and DBS Management team, providing regular updates and working together to escalate and manage any known or potential issues that may impact the team or operations. Job responsibilities Displays operational leadership skills within digital print and mail services Supports performance development processes and meet with team to review business and personal priorities, development, training and coaching Promotes and manages an inclusive work environment, providing direct management oversight, guidance and development of employees, and teams, in line with the JPMorgan Chase Business Principles Captures, measures and reports key business metrics to influence decision making Captures and manages risk issues or incidents following the required escalation model and procedures Documents in a clear and concise manner when conducting shift handovers to maintain operational consistency across all shifts Ensures quality control on the end-to-end production process, providing experienced insight into quality management procedures Manages and oversees production equipment is being used to the highest standards, in line with job specification or user specification Manages and oversees all maintenance and repairs for all production equipment Manages x-ray scanning and supporting procedures for the operation Displays excellent communication skills with staff, clients and vendors Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills Experience of working in a similar role within a reprographics environment with the ability to perform high volume printing, finishing and other reprographic services such as the use of high-volume inserting machines Experience in maintenance of all machinery including finishing equipment’s and the ability to process all incoming reprographic jobs efficiently and correctly following procedures Complete quality assurance checks for all print requests Strong written and spoken English skills and able to demonstrate and evidence leadership, communication and people skills Excellent time management, organizational skills and understanding of print and automated insertion technologies in a busy production environment Good working knowledge of key Microsoft programs and ability to analyze data and experience with handling client requests/issues and managing products and service expectations Organized and efficient with self-motivation, managing change, process and staff development
