The Peninsula London is delighted to announce that we are hiring a Senior Finance Manager to join our Finance Team. This position is accountable for the efficient and effective administration of the hotel's Accounts including Receivable management and for the control over Finance related policies and procedures, using systems to their full extent to automate task.

Key Accountabilities
4. Preparing monthly VAT submissions with according with HMRC regulations
5. Taking full ownership of the Residences area within the hotel including providing monthly invoices for direct and allocated costs and services and service charge breakdowns
6. Providing monthly cross charges between hotel and retail units within hotel accordingly to the lease agreements
7. Be fully accountable for and manage the Accounts Payable and Income Audit section within the hotel finance department
8. Assist the Assistance Director of Finance and Director of Finance in ensuring compliance with HSH Finance related policies and procedures and participate in any tasks necessary to achieve the highest levels of compliance and efficiency
9. Be responsible for the accuracy of all internal reporting, preparing and supervising the account reconciliation's, account analysis, and closing procedures at month end.
10. Support the month-end process, including monthly financial statements preparation, and balance sheet reconciliation and resolve problems raised within the Finance department's areas of responsibilities
General Requirements
11. At least 3 years accounting experience in hospitality- residential environment and supervisory experience is preferred
12. Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English is essential
13. Friendly personality and enjoys working with both processes and people equally
14. High proficiency in relevant computer software applications especially Microsoft office
15. Excellent time management and organizational skills, highly adaptable, naturally positive
16. Flexibility and capability of working under pressure within a fast-paced environment
