At Lubrizol we're looking for exceptional talent to join us on our journey. We are actively seeking a regional leader to oversee and manage the day-to-day talent acquisition operations in the region while partnering with the Global Process Owners (GPOs) and Centers of Excellence (COEs) to support and serve as the regional point of contact for broader talent and culture initiatives ensuring global alignment and regional requirements.
What You'll Do:
The Sr. Manager, Talent & Culture will partner closely with HR partners, business leadership and HR Leveraged Services team members supporting and/or executing against the talent processes. The Sr. Manager, Talent will be a member of the European HR Leadership Team while overseeing a team of talent acquisition professionals.
What We're Looking For:
* Manage and oversee all aspects of the full cycle recruitment process for the region, creating best practice strategies and unification of processes globally around recruiting, interviewing, assessments, selection, and pre-start onboarding meeting or exceeding global KPIs.
* Implement talent attraction strategy including search, external talent and candidate pools, market insights, social recruitment, posting strategies, and branding – aligning resources, processes, and systems while aligning and working in the chosen operating model.
* Ensure positive, consistent candidate experience to drive effective employment brand working with all stakeholders across the Human Resource team and business.
* Ensure Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion practices are integrated into all aspects of the programs, and processes.
* Enhance and optimize our systems and processes in partnership with HRIT and HR Technology to deliver high levels of internal customer service and world class candidate experience.
* Enhance and reinforce a collaborative, engaged, team-oriented environment with a focus on driving results with speed and agility.
* Lead and/or oversee regional recruiting projects, regional vendor relationships providing input into budget needs as appropriate and ensuring SLAs are met.
* Be a talent resource ensuring positive candidate and employee experiences across the talent life cycle by activating talent management programs that support the development and retention of high-potential employees, coordinating and facilitating talent reviews, succession planning, and career development initiatives, overseeing the implementation of regional training, learning and development programs, and promoting and driving the company’s culture and employee engagement initiatives
Skills That Make a Difference:
* Business related undergraduate degree (minimum) or equivalent experience
* Fluency in French, German or Dutch in addition to English
* Ability to effectively manage change
* Ability to work with data and develop metrics to show value and drive decisions
* Ability to coach both direct team members and the wider organization
* Ability to work in a matrix organization to drive, influence, and demonstrate a results-oriented mindset and behavior
* Ability to influence across a range of stakeholders
* Experience in talent management and program development/coordination.
* Team leadership experience (5 years minimum)
* Experience and knowledge of recruiting best practices and procedures
* Experience leading a talent acquisition team/function in UK & Europe
* Experience developing and deploying talent acquisition strategies to enable the business strategy, including change management and stakeholder engagement
