Smart Repair Technician

Perm Role
£35,000 to £40,000 per annum
The role:
* To conduct technician tasks such as dent removal, scratch repair and refinishing to a high-quality and in line with the manufacturers standards.
* To remove minor dents from the body of a motor vehicle including the use of dent puller and panel beating.
* To repair large dents and bodyline damages
* To restore door dings and minor creases.
* To prepare damaged panels for repainting by minimising the use of body filler.
* To utilise your knowledge of the "push to paint" or "push to prep" technique.
* To be able to identify plastic repairs and refinishing by using the correct product knowledge on adhesion promotors, flexible additives, fillers and stoppers.
* To have the ability to assess and identify different finished coatings i.e. textures.
* To ensure that paint and bodywork equipment including the facility is maintained and kept to a high standard of cleanliness.
* To work to the Health & Safety rules within CLdN Automotive Ltd.
* Undertake any other tasks considered appropriate and reasonable as required from time to time.
This is a fantastic opportunity to join Gi Group and work with one of our Clients in Purfleet to perform bodywork repairs on various vehicle types.
The Technician's requirements and skills:
* Have proven experience in vehicle bodywork repair.
* Strong technical skills and attention to detail.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Commitment to delivering high-quality results and exceptional customer service.
* Be able to demonstrate a commitment to continued learning by participating in on-going training and any other
industry related training requirements.
* Be able to meet targets and deadlines.
