Monarch Education are working with a Primary School in the Banbury area who are looking for a full time Teaching Assistant to work in Key Stage 1. The school are looking for a full time Teaching Assistant to join their team in January 2025, on a long-term basis. Responsibilities include (but are not limited to): Being aware of children's progress and achievements, and to report and record these achievements in developmental records through written observations Supporting children with learning, communication, behavioural or developmental difficulties Assisting pupils with personal hygiene routines Using sound knowledge and understanding of pedagogy in helping children in their learning and development Designing and producing displays that support children's learning and development A minimum of a Level 3 qualification in Childcare / Teaching (or similar) is preferred, however the school will consider applications from candidates who have had substantial experience in a similar role, without a qualification.
