Position: Technician
Location: Didcot (OX11)
Salary: GBP30,000 per annum (+ paid overtime)
Hours: Monday to Friday (08:00 with regular travel nationally and fully expensed overnight stays required)
The Opportunity
Thompson & Terry Recruitment are looking to recruit a Technician to join a small but highly experienced team based in Didcot who operate within a highly regulated technical industry.
As Technician, you will be responsible for carrying out general workshop operations within a technical and highly regulated environment. A huge part of this role will involve travelling to schools, hospitals, and businesses nationally to carry out collections. Until fully trained and competent, you will be supporting other technicians as part of the training programme.
Once up to speed, this role offers a fantastic opportunity to independently carry out collections and also work alongside colleagues depending on the size and complexity of the work. The successful Technician will enjoy regular training to ensure safety and compliance is consistently up to date and will also have the opportunity to learn and grow into the role.

As part of the essential demand for this work across the UK, regular travel and overnight stays (on average 5 nights per month) will be required from the successful Technician.
