As lead officer we will look to you to provide operational oversight of the service support the delivery of strategic aims in support of the DASS. Key responsibilities will include: Lead, manage and motivate a major service area within adult social care services with responsibility for determining their service objectives driving and improving performance indicators, using data and insight to support sound decision making. Work positively and collaboratively with partners and colleagues every resident, family and carer are supported in the best way. To lead and motivate the community neighbourhoods team and the Prevention independence and wellbeing teams, ensuring the delivery of high-quality, person-centred care that promotes independence and a home first ethos. Develop, implement and communicate service level strategies, with clear and measurable operational business plans which include horizon scanning for relevant changes, risks and opportunities that may impact the business. Develop strategies that promote a strong resident focus and ethos creating opportunities to use feedback and evidence to further enhance and develop the service offer and respond to changing needs. Develop and implement strategic business plans in line with the core purpose, objectives, and vision of Adult Social Care. About you You will have a high level of proven quality experience in leading an Adults Social Care Service in a large complex organisation. Successful in providing clear, balanced advice and guidance on strategic issues and effective Leadership. You will have demonstrable success in developing effective working relationships, partnerships with other agencies, and communicating and influencing others. Energy, resilience and determination coupled with the ability to work under pressure whilst showing commitment to the Councils values and leadership behaviours. Candidate requirements: Registered Social Worker, Nurse or Occupational Therapist. Excellent knowledge of relevant legislation. Significant and varied post qualification contemporary experience. Demonstrable evidence of both strategic and operational management in Adult Social care Setting. An enhanced DBS clearance and access to own transport will be required.
