Purpose of the role:
Responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the dispatch team, ensuring efficient and timely coordination of engineers/Partners. This role involves managing dispatch staff, optimising dispatch procedures, and maintaining effective communication with Engineers, clients, and other stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Lead, mentor, and supervise the dispatch team, including scheduling shifts, assigning tasks, and monitoring performance to ensure high levels of productivity and morale.
2. Oversee the dispatching of Engineers/Partners, ensuring that all operations are conducted efficiently and in accordance with company policies and client requirements.
3. Facilitate clear and effective communication between dispatchers, Engineers, clients, and other departments to ensure seamless coordination and address any issues promptly.
4. Track and analyse key performance indicators (KPIs) related to dispatch activities, identifying areas for improvement and implementing strategies to enhance operational efficiency.
5. Address and resolve operational challenges, including emergencies and delays, by coordinating with relevant personnel and deploying appropriate resources.
6. Ensure accurate documentation of dispatch activities, quality assurance, and other relevant information for reporting and compliance purposes.
7. Provide training and development opportunities for dispatch employees to enhance their skills and knowledge, ensuring they are equipped to perform their duties effectively.
Salary: £27,852+ a discretionary bonus based on successful achievement of monthly KPIs.

The Individual:
1. Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in dispatching, logistics, or a similar role, with at least 1-2 years in a supervisory or leadership position.
2. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
3. Proficiency in using dispatch software, GPS systems, and other relevant technology.
4. Analytical skills to assess performance metrics and implement improvements.
5. Knowledge of transportation regulations and safety standards.
Office-based with occasional travel to field locations as needed.
Regular interaction with Engineers, clients, and other team members via phone, email, and two-way text.
