Location: Peace Hospice, Watford Salary: £37,338 - 44,962 per annum (pro rata) Hours: 30 hours per week Closing Date : 30th October 2024 Interviews : TBC Part time, permanent We're looking for a Physiotherapist (Outpatients / IPU) who will be responsible for undertaking holistic physiotherapy assessments and treatment of patients with complex, life limiting illness as an autonomous practitioner with support from the Senior Physiotherapist. We're wanting to hear from people who can contribute to the effective provision of rehabilitation and therapy support within Rennie Grove Peace as a member of the Therapies team with the support of senior physiotherapy colleagues. You'll maintain a respectful, non-judgemental and caring attitude ensuring the Rennie Grove Peace vision and philosophy of care is integral to the care delivered and undertaken. You'll also act as a Rennie Grove Peace ambassador within the community. Further to this you'll be expected to contribute to patient information groups and courses, e.g. advanced care planning course, breathlessness groups, exercise groups and Living Well. What you'll bring Degree or diploma in Physiotherapy, HCPC registration. Advanced communication skills or willingness to work towards. Experience in a wide range of core clinical areas including Respiratory / Neurology / Medical / MSK / Community, evidence of CPD and reflective practice. Awareness of NSFs / local and national initiatives relating to palliative care. The following would be advantageous but not essential: Member of ACPOPC - clinical interest group. Previous experience and knowledge of working within the field of palliative care.
