About the role Our service helps parents enhance their parenting skills and ensuring children can live safe and happy lives. Our Family Support Workers assist families facing parenting challenges. Using your skills and experience, you will provide safe care guidance to new parents and deliver positive parenting programs for parents of children ranging from toddlers to teenagers. This Independent Family Support Worker role offers fantastic opportunities to work with caring and dedicated child protection professionals, supporting parents to improve their ability to care for their children safely at home. Our service provides Family Support to families whose children are subject to Child in Need or Child Protection plans, or Care Proceedings, so a sound understanding of safeguarding children principles is essential. We are currently only recruiting Independent Family Support Workers for daytime shifts, across London and surrounding areas. You will work independently as well as a member of a team of Family Support Workers and social workers. Additional Information: Work is assignment based and availability of hours varies from week to week.
