Job summary
Brookside Group Practice is an innovative, forward thinking, large, 4 site practice working together as Earley + Primary Care Network, which manages approximately 31,000 patients. Our team of around 130 people includes many allied health professionals, including a thriving health and wellbeing team helping to address patients mental and emotional wellbeing needs alongside our doctors, physician associates and MIND services, MSK practitioners, pharmacists, paramedics, nurses, healthcare assistants, support, and administration staff.
We are looking for a an enthusiastic and proactive GP to join our multi-disciplinary team for 5 sessions per week.
Key points to consider in being part of our team:

4 appointments per hour
No duty doctor- overflow each day managed by a shared team of GPs and AHPs
Innovative supervisory GP model for acute and routine care
Home visits largely conducted by paramedics
Regular teaching from external consultants and a doctors meeting protected as CPD with lunch provided
What we are looking for:
Motivated individuals with a positive, proactive approach to general practice
Ability to work as part of a team and sharing the workload with colleagues
Ability to manage clinical uncertainty and risk in own clinical practice and whilst potentially supervising a team of allied health professionals
Main duties of the job
1. Provide medical services for the practice population to a high standard, including day-to-day activities such as surgery consultations, telephone advice, telephone consultations and home visits and appropriate administration to ensure accurate records, patient continuity and quality of care.
2. Comply with the requirements of the practices General Medical Services/Personal Medical Services (GMS/PMS) (17c) contract, Enhanced Services contracts, educational/training delivery contracts and private contracts.
3. Adhere to the principles of good medical practice.

The Practice serves approximately 31,000 patients from our 4 surgeries in Earley, Lower Earley, Winnersh and Wilderness Road.
