The Role:
The Commercial Sales Manager at Entourage Sport & Entertainment is central to expanding our influence and reach through strategic sponsorship sales in the sports industry. In this role, you will lead the sales process from scouting new business opportunities to crafting tailored proposals and closing deals. This position requires a proactive and strategic approach, focused on cultivating long-term partnerships that align with our company's objectives and values.
Key Responsibilities:
* Strategic Sales Planning and Execution: Collaborate with the Head of Commercial to create and implement sales strategies that target both immediate wins and sustainable growth.
* Drive New Business Development: Proactively identify and pursue new sponsorship opportunities within various sports sectors to expand and diversify our commercial portfolio.
* Proposal Development: Lead the crafting of customised proposals and manage negotiations through to the successful signing of contracts.
* Market Insight and Competitor Analysis: Keep a pulse on industry trends and competitor movements to adapt strategies and maintain a competitive edge.
* Achieve Sales Targets: Meet and exceed sales goals by securing new partnerships and nurturing existing relationships to drive revenue growth.
* Industry Networking and Representation: Actively participate in industry events and conferences to network, promote Entourage, and scout for potential leads.
* Client Satisfaction and Retention: Ensure high levels of client service, addressing any issues promptly and identifying opportunities for further collaboration and growth.
* Cross-Departmental Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams, including marketing, creative, and operations, to ensure the seamless activation of partnerships and maximization of client value.
Key Requirements:
Experience:
* Minimum of 5 years in partnership sales.
* Must have worked within a sports agency or directly with a rights holder.
* Demonstrated success in generating significant revenue through strategic sales and partnerships.
Skills:
* Robust negotiation and sales skills, with a proven ability to secure and grow client relationships.
* Excellent interpersonal skills, with a knack for engaging positively with stakeholders at all levels.
* Strategic thinker with a solid understanding of the sports marketing landscape.
* Competency in CRM and other sales management tools.
