My client based within the Higher Education Sector is currently recruiting for an Admin Assistant to join their team.
Working Hours:
Monday to Friday
Full time - On site
£13.98 - £17.88 per hour (paid weekly)
The successful candidate must have experience in the following:
* Coordination of day-to-day meetings, appointments, and travel schedules including booking of travel, accommodation, and ground transportation.
* Diary management.
* Processing of expenses.
* Taking minutes.
* Experience in preparation of accounts and the use of software: Oracle.
Additional Requirements:
* Ability to use the Oracle Finance system and local accounting packages (ARMIS and Hyperdata) for processing internal orders and invoices.
* Proficiency in software packages such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and ASPEL (the Home Office electronic licensing system).
* Fast and accurate transfer of data with regard to statutory and ethical requirements.
* Ability to liaise effectively with a wide range of contacts, both orally and in written form.
* Ability to manage and prioritise own workload independently.
* Understand and respect the need for absolute confidentiality.
