Assistant Manager - General Practice Location: King's Lynn, NorfolkA well-established accountancy firm in King's Lynn is seeking an Assistant Manager - General Practice to join its growing team, with 10 offices across the region, this would suit a Senior Accountant with strong experience in Accounting and Tax compliance work, looking to progress, manage a portfolio and take on a leadership role in the team. This role offers the opportunity to manage a diverse client portfolio, providing high-quality compliance and advisory services. The Role: The successful candidate will oversee a portfolio of clients, including high-net-worth individuals, company directors, and trustees. Key responsibilities include: Managing and developing client relationships, ensuring exceptional service delivery. Reviewing financial statements, VAT returns, and tax compliance work. Preparing budgets, forecasts, and projections. Ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements. Providing guidance and mentoring to junior staff. Identifying opportunities for additional services and supporting business development. Attending client meetings and networking events to strengthen relationships. About You: ACA/ACCA qualified (or equivalent). Minimum of 4 years' experience in an accountancy practice. Strong technical knowledge of accounting and tax principles. Excellent communication and leadership skills. Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office. Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively.
