Job summary Dinas Lane Medical Centre is looking to recruit a part/time Receptionist to join our friendly and established team for 30 hours per week. We are looking for someone who is enthusiastic, driven, a team player with fantastic customer service skills who is willing to learn and likes to make a difference. The candidate must be a quick learner, adaptable to a busy environment and take a flexible approach to work patterns. The role will be mainly patient facing with duties including front desk, scanning, prescription requests and general administration work. You should be EMIS proficient. GP Reception Experience and knowledge of EMIS Web is essential. Main duties of the job This role involves greeting and booking patients in at reception, booking and cancelling appointments. Answer incoming telephone calls and ensuring calls are documented and directed where appropriate. Ensure correspondence is filed electronically in correct patient records. Assist with daily administration duties such as filing, emails, scanning, dealing with queries and processing prescriptions. Undertake administration tasks as allocated on the rota organised by the Team Leader. About us Dinas Lane Medical Centre is a well established GP practice in Hutyon. The Practice has approximately 10,600 patients. We are CQC rated Good (2020).
