Join our client's dynamic team as an IT Project Manager ! A Taunton-based company require a driven individual who is keen on delivering strategic initiatives within a dynamic IT environment. The ideal candidate will be passionate about managing projects that align with business and strategic objectives.
This role offers Hybrid working, 3 days a week in the Taunton office. Operating Monday through Friday, from 8 AM to 5 PM.
Main responsibilities of the IT Project Manager:
* Lead and motivate cross-functional teams to deliver software projects as per the Strategic Project Portfolio, ensuring high standards and timely completion
* Maintain a thorough understanding of business processes and structures to ensure effective project execution
* Oversee the resourcing of project teams in collaboration with IT Management
* Attend out-of-hours deployments as required and perform additional tasks related to project delivery
Requirements of the IT Project Manager:
* Relevant Project Management qualifications or equivalent experience; familiarity with Agile and/or Waterfall methodologies (Scrum, CSPO or POPM)
* Proven experience in software project delivery and staying updated with software development/support techniques through continuous learning
* Strong communication skills with the ability to build relationships with stakeholders and ensure clear and professional interactions
* Demonstrated ability to manage time effectively, prioritise tasks, and solve problems proactively; a positive attitude and a team-oriented approach
