Flexible working arrangements between office and home may be possible, however the role will predominantly be based at the Power Station. Key responsibilities will be:

* Monitor and report on the effectiveness of the HSE Management system and progress against HSE Performance Standards, making recommendations for improvement as appropriate.
* Based at EDF Dungeness B, with occasional business travel to UK sites/stations.
* Report to the business Operations Manager, accountable for project delivery directly to the client.
* Have a proven track record of working within highly regulated environments with high safety standards and culture.
* Possess good communication and organizational skills, with the ability to develop relationships and maintain effective networks.
* Hold an HNC in a relevant technical discipline or equivalent.
* Have current qualification/knowledge of the CDM Regulations.
* Minimum NEBOSH General Certificate, Construction Certificate or NVQ Level 3.
* Membership of the Institution of Occupational Safety and Health (IOSH) is desirable.
* IEMA Foundation Certificate in Environmental Management.
* Operational knowledge of current HSE legislation associated with project work.
* Suitable relevant experience working as a HSE Professional in a project context, including experience managing contractors and accident investigation/reporting.
