HGV Technician
Location: West Thurrock, Grays
Hours: Rotating Shifts: Working 45 hours Mon-Fri 06.00 – 15.00 and 13.00 – 22.00; Saturday’s as required
Salary: Up to £53,820 with overtime paid at time and a half
We are seeking a skilled and experienced HGV Technician to join our client’s workshop in West Thurrock. Our client specialises in fleet vehicles including transits, sprinters, and various other LCVs. The successful candidate will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining various vehicles, including trucks and vans. This position requires a strong understanding of automotive systems and the ability to use diagnostic tools and software to identify and resolve complex problems. The ideal candidate will have a passion for cars and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.

Diagnose and repair vehicle problems, including engine, transmission, brake, suspension, and electrical issues
Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as oil changes, tire rotations, and brake inspections
Use diagnostic tools and software to identify and resolve complex issues
Keep accurate records of all work performed and parts used
Communicate with customers about vehicle issues and repair recommendations
Maintain a clean and organised work area
Keep up-to-date with the latest automotive technology and repair techniquesHGV Technician Requirements:
HGV Technician Level 3 qualifications or equivalent
Excellent diagnostic skills
Proven HGV experience
