What will you be doing?
This position will be working in our dynamic Education team and will be responsible for the delivery of Saints Foundation’s Premier League Primary Stars project. Saints Foundation’s Premier League Primary Stars is a Premier League Charitable Funded project delivered within 15 priority primary schools across Southampton, with the aims of supporting children to be active, look after their wellbeing and develop important life skills.
You will work within four primary schools, using the power of the Saints badge to support those who feel the impact of inequalities most.
You’ll work with young people on an individual, small group, and class basis, aiming to improve their attitudes towards education, raise their aspirations, and support their engagement in school life. You’ll deliver a range of different interventions to targeted pupils using specially designed resources that support them with numeracy, literacy, and PSHE, while also working with teachers to develop their knowledge and confidence in delivering PE. Additionally, you will be involved in the planning and delivery of events and workshops that align with local challenges/campaigns and utilise the club's facilities/grounds to offer a varied range of out-of-school opportunities for pupils.

We are looking for someone who:
1. Is able to create and maintain strong relationships in schools with staff and pupils
2. Is a competent deliverer who is able to adapt a variety of sessions based on needs
3. Has the ability to engage with primary school age pupils from a range of backgrounds
4. Has experience delivering PE within a Primary School setting
5. Is committed to ongoing personal development
Essential Qualifications
1. Level 2 Multi-Skills or FA Level 2/UEFA C Coaching Award or UKCC Level 2 Coaching Qualification or equivalent
Desirable Qualifications
1. PESS Level 3
2. HLTA Level 3 & 4 Specialising in Sport
3. QTS/QTLS
