I am recruiting for a BMS Commissioning Engineer with Siemens experience to work on the Olympia project in London. The daily rate depends on experience and suitability OUTSIDE IR35. Would you be interested, or do you know anyone who might be interested?
Role Overview
To pre-commission and commission BEMS including control panels (CP) that monitor and control mechanical and electrical systems within active construction sites.
Prove the interaction between the BEMS control system and 3rd party equipment.
Technically understand how the BEMS interacts with M&E systems, including but not limited to:
* Mechanical Systems
* Air
* Hydraulic
* FCU’s and Chilled Beams
* Electrical Systems
* Energy Monitoring and Metering
* Lighting
* Fire
* Security
* Smart technologies
Read and understand Schedule of Deliverables, Interface Matrix, Network Architecture Drawings, Functional Design Specifications, Points Schedules, Technical submittals, RFI’s, etc.
This work will be carried out on construction sites and at factories manufacturing and supplying the equipment.
Ensure all relevant paperwork associated with the above is completed in line with the commissioning works that are undertaken.
Ensuring handover of fully operational BEMS Systems.
Work in a high-pressure and fast-moving environment.
To undertake other duties as required.
Liaise with Operations Manager, Project Manager, Project Engineers, other staff, subcontractors, and clients as required to carry out this role.
Adhere to all company policies & procedures, particularly to health & safety.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience
* Electrical Engineering qualifications (full electrical apprenticeship or equivalent)
* Proven track record of delivering BEMS systems specifically Schneider, Tridium
* Exceptional technical knowledge of BEMS
* Experience working with BACNET and or Modbus
* Ability to understand system software and graphics
* Valid CSCS or ECS site card
