Finance Analyst – Recoup and FP&A

Reporting to the Finance Manager – FP&A, as a highly motivated individual your primary responsibility will be to act as the main business partner for Recoup, playing a pivotal role in managing the financial operations of the business during a period of growth, as well as leading the Kitchen & Bath UK group Capital Plan process.
The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented and proactive, with a passion for finance and a commitment to contribute to the organisation’s success.
Specific responsibilities:
1. Oversee daily financial operations for Recoup business, including accounts payable, accounts receivable and general ledger maintenance.
2. Develop and deliver detailed financial reports for Senior Leadership across the brands, highlighting key performance indicators and providing insights into business performance.
3. Support with the annual budgeting and monthly forecasting processes, ensuring alignment to organisational objectives and market conditions.
4. Preparation of quarterly balance sheet reconciliations ensuring risks and opportunities are flagged in a timely manner.
5. Be the lead financial support for the bi-annual Capital Planning process for K&B UK, ensuring spend stays in line with agreed limits and that projects deliver an acceptable Profitability Index (PI) for the business.
6. Present Capital Plan to key stakeholders and the executive management team.
7. Aligned with the business’s culture and strategic plan, seek continuous improvement in all areas of work to improve efficiency, control and reduce manual/non-valued added work through automation and other initiatives.
8. Promote and contribute to the Finance team to share information, drive best practice finance solutions in reporting, analysis, decision support and business partnering.
Interested? We are looking for these key skills:
1. Excellent analytical skills with strong attention to detail.
2. Able to work to tight deadlines.
3. Proven experience in bookkeeping, with a strong understanding of accounting principles.
4. AAT Level 4 qualification or equivalent.
5. Xero, SAP and BPC experience would be advantageous.
6. Proficient in Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
7. Available for occasional travel.
