Mobile Medical Assistant/Phlebotomist in Kent/Des Moines areas

The Western Washington office for APPS is looking for quality medical professionals to help us complete these exams in a timely, professional manner on behalf of the insurance company the policy is being applied through. Bilingual Applicants are encouraged.
Position: Mobile Medical Assistant/Phlebotomist in Kent/Des Moines areas.
Job Summary:
Our independent contractors (ICs) are self-motivated, detail-oriented, organized, and able to work with minimal supervision as they complete quality exams while using their medical know-how.
Responsibilities:
* Conduct mobile exams in the home or office of the client, which may involve blood draws, medical histories, signatures on packets, vital signs, saliva samples, and 12 lead EKGs.
* Follow all compliance and safety policies and procedures while ensuring accuracy and confidentiality in gathering client information.
* Perform exams that typically last from 15 minutes to a little over an hour.
Hours:
* Set your own schedule! We offer exams 7 days a week, 52 weeks of the year.
* Most of our contractors have full-time jobs and use this as an opportunity to earn additional income each month.
* We assist in scheduling your appointments, allowing you to focus on conducting medical exams!
Job Details:
* Reimbursement: You are reimbursed every two weeks by direct deposit for each exam you complete.
* Territory: Set your own territory by choosing the zip codes you will work within.
* Orientation: We provide a 3-4 hour in-person orientation to verify your skills and familiarize you with the paperwork and website used by our ICs.
* Equipment: We may rent equipment such as tablets, EKG machines, and centrifuges. Use of your own equipment will be considered but is not guaranteed. Some items will need to be purchased, including Manual BP cuff, Stethoscope, Tape (soft/fabric & metal), Printer/paper/ink, Scale (400lb), extra gloves, alcohol swabs, band aids or coban, and Goss.
Qualifications:
* Actively practicing phlebotomy with a minimum of 1 year of work experience.
* Trained in manual blood pressure and pulse collection.
* Familiarity with tablets/computers.
* Preferred experience with pediatric and geriatric patients/home health.
* EKG experience is preferred but not required.
* Reliable vehicle with a valid state driver's license and auto insurance.

Education preferred: High school diploma or equivalency. Phlebotomy or Medical Assistant state certification is required.
