This well-established North East-based law firm is currently seeking an experienced Legal Secretary to support a team of lawyers within the Commercial Property department. As the ideal candidate, you will possess strong administrative and secretarial skills, as well as the ability to manage a variety of tasks with efficiency and professionalism. Key Responsibilities: Provide comprehensive secretarial and administrative support, including audio typing and digital dictation Handle client interactions, both in person and over the phone, with a professional and courteous manner Accurately manage the filing, storage and retrieval of client files and documents in line with the firm's systems Set up new client files quickly and accurately in accordance with company procedures Format and amend legal documents to ensure compliance with company style Arrange appointments and meetings, while maintaining an up-to-date and well-organised diary Operate photocopying equipment to produce high-quality document copies as required Bind documents and prepare them for client or legal proceedings Candidate Requirements: Experience : Prior experience as a Legal Secretary is essential Attention to Detail : Strong accuracy and organisational skills Team Player : Ability to collaborate with colleagues and work well as part of a team Flexibility : Adaptable, with a positive attitude towards taking on various tasks Professionalism : Courteous and client-focused, with strong interpersonal skills If you have a proven track record in a similar role and are looking for a new opportunity to grow within a dynamic legal environment, we’d love to hear from you
